NORTH TALLINN FOOD TOURS
Current tour times: January 24 from 3-7pm. Tickets on sale here.
Koplikandi Hikes is excited to invite you on a food tour
that will satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst for (food) history.
The tour begins at the Balti Jaam market, located next to the Old Town of Tallinn, and ends approximately 5 km away at the Kopli peninsula. The travel will be done by public transport (trams) and on foot.
We will sample food from some highly praised places, local favourites, and authentic pies and beers from places you may have never heard of. We will also point out other eateries worth discovering (or not). In addition to food and drink, you will hear stories about food preparation then and now, tales of the terribly friendly Kopli, the history of food in Estonia and several recommendations for both meals and experiences.
Koplikandi Hikes guides have conducted tours in the area for the past 5 years. Both guides are food enthusiasts, love history and some excellent coffee.
Reviews:
Even as an expat who has lived in Tallinn for years, I learned so many new things on the Kopli food tour (about food, history, and juicy stories). The food was incredible. I was so full but I couldn’t stop trying the delicious foods and drinks. And even as a vegetarian, I had more than enough to eat. Our guides Hannele and Liine brought culinary history to life through their personal and family stories. I can’t recommend the Kopli food tour enough! - Jae (Google Reviews)
I participated to the tour, hoping to have a good time while eating good food. I didn't expect to learn so much about the history of the city and it's life. Both Hannele and Liine are troves of informations, anecdotes and history. Their passion sipped through every minute, making this tour a memorable experience. Please come with a empty belly and a thirst for knowledge as you'll be perfectly served. 11/10. – Clément
